At WBC we have Awana classes starting at age 2 through 5th grade. The Puggles (2 & 3 year olds) and Cubbies (preschool) have music, puppets, and snacks together. We separate them for lesson and handbook time allowing them to learn in age appropriate small groups. Sparks (K,1st, & 2nd) and T&T (3rd, 4th, & 5th) join together at the beginning for pledges, announcements and prayer. They spend the rest of the evening rotating between an activity (games, crafts, guest speaker), lesson time, and handbook time. Lesson time is done in a large group setting while handbook time is in a small group setting. The children earn points for finishing their sections, bringing their bible, bringing a friend, or participating in theme nights. We have an Awana Store every other month for the Sparks and T&T kids to use their points if they wish. We start at 6:30 and finish at 7:45.
